Cruiser Uno 20% Extra Free! Tin not full.

Recently i bought my antifoul - cruiser uno with 20% Extra Free! 3 Litres for the Price of 2.5 litres.

On opening the tin didn't look full. In fact it looked like the 20% was missing. Either that or the tin is 3.5L capacity (which would be silly). Checked with someone also in the yard and they reported the same, but had bought theirs from a different retailer. Anyone else had a similar experience?

The chandlery told me that it is a 4.0L tin, as producing a special tin was more expensive than using the existing 4.0L one...

What's the diameter and height of the tin?

Did you measure how much was in the tin? My guess is that they use a larger tin to save it going all over the floor when you mix it

Axshully, nearly right.
I have just talked to International, as I am on their antifoul trial scheme this year.

The real answer is that the tin is 1 US gallon, at 3.875 litres, they don't, as Morgana alluded to, produce a special tin for this promotion.

The oversize tin makes it much easier to stir without the paint slopping everywhere (especially with a drill powered stirrer!)

Not when you open the hatchback and a full tin falls out on to the road, managed to save a 1/3rd but what a mess!!

Actually you may notice a patch of blue road just before you get to woolverstone, I heard the tin fall off a box in the back, stopped and opened the hatchback.....
