Any one know which cruise ship is currently docked in th Port of Cardiff and why it is here?

You mean this monster.. i cant remember her name but she is going out on the next high tide i belive, i watched come in at lunch time today,inches to spare in the lock and she never touched.

Good Nail, Well Hit.
Newport took in a cruise ship a while back. Newport! and I live there.
They bussed everyone down to Cardiff to do the tourist thing but they
could just as easily bus them the other way.
The only justification for using Newport is that they have a bigger lock
so they could get a bigger floatel closer to Alcatraz (sorry "The Celtic
Manor Resort").

Looks like she was only here for the day as she is now underway again. Must be even harder to get out of the locks at night, she has been moving very slowly since about 9pm.
