A friend is anchored near Bembridge. He saw them in the distance so that's how I found out.
He's just sent me a video that was full of bleeps showing his boat violently rocking as each ship went by :ROFLMAO:

I've never seen Disney Magic, but I'm certain QE (ROB) doesn't have a noticable wake (to lead enemy fire) and neither does Scarlet lady. QM2 was built a little too early and is horrible. Wakes are too expensive to exist in the '20's it's all about fuel now.

Yes Scarlett Lady sounded like Booze cruise as she left Portsmouth yesterday evening around8.30 -wondere whether they were going to the med yet ? Weymouth seems a popular location for the P&O ones.

P&O have been doing shakedown cruises recently with staff onboard instead of paying passengers, to make sure their Covid protocols work and get signed off, so they haven't been going far.

A friend of mine was on a cruise a couple of weeks ago, and a lady who runs a cruise-review channel on YouTube has been on two or three. They’re well past the “testing the protocols” stage.

Each ship needs to have it's protocols signed off. Not all ships are carrying paid passengers yet.

There have been plenty of cruise ships arriving at Holyhead and disgorging plenty of passengers onto the only surviving bit of Holyhead marina. I'm not sure what Holyhead has to offer although I think they take a coach to Yr Wyddfa, Caernarfon castle etc.
