Just wanted to share some pics with you guys to show that even in the west of Ireland, we do use our boats and often take part in cruise in companies. OK, so the weather wasn't quite the med, but we still all had fun.
Last weekend (mid Sept), we had our last official cruise-in-company (although we'll keep cruising until the weather stops us). This year, there was a twist! When all the boats arrived at their final destination, a surprise Christmas Dinner was organised, to the surprise of all the guests. Santa (yours truly) even made an appearance, with gifts for all participants (adults & children).
Hope you enjoy
Boats at anchor on Lough Corrib (West Ireland)
Arriving at Maam Bridge
On arrival, the children were looking at us like we were crazy as we produced a Christmas tree from our boat
Christmas dinner about to be laid out on the communal table
Yours truly... ho ho ho!
