Any news on the availability of the 3rd edition of you wonderful book?
I am soon of to Plymouth to start moving my new boat to Shotley and would really like to have it with me.

I have no date yet, I'm afraid. It is in the hands of the Printer and then obviously the shipping. If your passage beats the Printer, let me know and I will sort out a bespoke plan. I promise you you won't be disappointed by the new tables - so much easier, so much more information.

I'm pleased to hear the news that the new book is in the process of being published and hopefully very soon.
Having been privileged to have viewed the new tables for various boat speeds I can say they are brilliant and so easy to use. I think everyone that already has one of your books will be up grading to the 3rd edition.

Thanks Flames. That's kind. I have no idea how long the printing, binding and delivering takes but the final proof was finished exactly a month ago.

I'm planning a crossing from the Crouch to the Medway in June so I hope I'll be able to buy one before then!

I admit I am completely unaware of the printer, binding and delivery logistics but I would be very surprised it wasn't available in time. If I get surprised, I can always provide you some bespoke recommendations.
