What was the race the Val Du Loire went through the middle of yesterday about 20miles South of St Cats from St malo to Portsmouth?. About 20+ yachts most with crew on the rail tacking to the South West in the light breeze.
Looked as if they were having a nice tactical race.
ps found the VdL a poor substitute for the Bretange, showing her age (1987), could not keep time against the ebb tide across the Channel from the Race and smokey stacks even from the alternators on part load. Lots of old age showing internally as well if you looked closely.
Wife impressed with S Britanny so have permission to try to get Ronhilda around there again in the next few years.
