+1 - you clearly have no first-hand knowledge about SAR, or boat design and manufacture or the costs involved and yet you continue to bore us. Please stop your absolute dribble.
We are RNLI members and very happy to support them through our membership fees. We are Solent sailors these days and fall within the range of Seastart - but that costs £160 per year and is not a rescue service, just a mechanical help service with very limited coverage. The RNLI covers the whole of the British Isles out to many miles off shore and will come to you in appalling weather, risking their lives to save yours. They are not a breakdown service, but they regularly go out to clear fouled propellers and tow in boats with engine failure. They are worth every penny.
