My regular crew, who have tolerated me for far too many years, are either; busy with new jobs; stuck in Devon on their own boat; tied down by new girlfriends or have moved to Scotland to avoid the chore of sailing the busy Solent. Consequently I am looking to gather together a couple of new bodies to pull the lines and provide the conversation on weekend jollies out of Chichester.

The ships rules are simple;

Respect the boat

Buy your round in the pub

Do your share of the cooking and cleaning

and cough up your share of any berthing charges incurred.

In return I promise to keep the diesel tanks topped and provide plenty of tea and coffee etc.

Interested?

why would anyone in their right mind put their email address in their profile where any spammer can get it? If anyone wants to make contact they can easily use a pm

Objectives:
After a successful career in the film industry making low budget films I've decided I want to sail boats. Everything I do I take seriously and if I think about it, if I hadn't made films I could have bought a yacht by now so having wasted my money, (no I had a great time!), it's time for a new challenge so I''m humbly laying myself at your feet and expressing a super keen interest in working for and with boat owners to get the miles in to develop my skills as a crew member and eventually skipper my own boat...and I guess if you wanted to make a film about your trip at the same time, then I could be the man you're looking for.

Current career:
Film Editor, Writer and Director twenty years for all the major TV companies and on feature films. Prior to that worked in the music business as a music producer.

Why hire me?: Lots of stamina, don't mind the cold, hard working, good humoured, quick learner, ambitious, determined to be good at anything I turn my hand to, good cook, happy to get my hands dirty and get stuck in to anything I am asked to. I cycle 16 miles a day so I am fit, . I like to have fun. Christian. Reliable.

Aim: To do yacht deliveries, working up to professional charter work.

Availability: Good. I work 4 or five weeks at a time and have up to four weeks available in between jobs sometimes longer. Possible to take 2 to 6 months off for the right job.

Experience:
Have worked on films about the Fastnet race and Cowes week and some weekend sailing. Keen to rack up some miles quick!
