Passage Crew with Watchkeeping skills Wanted to assist skipper and owner aboard Nauticat 33 Motorsailer from Hamble to Maryport (Cumbria) via Newlyn, Milford Haven & Douglas IOM. Find own travel to/from vessel. Ideal Mileage builder & experience sail. Departure date is 10th May for (7) day voyage.

That's a bit stingy innit - wouldn't like the crew to pay for their own food as well would you? - perhaps even chip in with the diesel and marina fees ?

And NO... its not commercial, just common courtesy to pay your way. Sailing and yachting in general is an expensive hobby.

I find it difficult to believe that this trip (or your trip to Brest) was for "expensive hobby" purposes!

Are you telling us, that you are NOT a delivery skipper looking for cheap crew?

You sir, should hoist your correct colours & be honest - you ARE doing it for financial reward.

In reply to those 'posts' to date... DO NOT attempt to accuse without due cause or knowledge. I believe that this 'open' forum does have a Moderator and it does not appear to be any of those persons commenting so far.
