Crew member wanted day sailing River Crouch and North Sea

Crew member sought for Saturday or Sunday day sailing in 39' yacht based on River Crouch. No money involved, just enjoying sailing. Occasional weekends and perhaps longer trips to continent later in summer. But primarily crewing for the day and enjoying sailing. Novice with some experience or competent crew.

Hello David If your still looking I would love to come and sail with you I am fairly new too sailing and have done some day sails here and there (paid rides sort of thing) I have a Westerly 22 project ive been working on which i haven't got in tne water yet. Based in kent but happy to travel and eager to gain more sailing time.

If you are still looking, my details are as follows:

I've been inland dinghy sailing at Hollowell Sailing Club for the last three years, but in March this year I passed my Day Skipper Practical. I plan to spend the rest of this year consolidating my experience before purchasing a sailboat early next year (probably something under 30ft).

To date all of my yachting experience has in the Solent, a total of about 230 miles. I have a newly acquired RYA First Aid certificate, as well as the RYA VHF licence. I've joined a local cruising association (Bromsgrove Boaters), but most of their sailing events are out of season as members are generally away sailing further a field in the Summer.

I'm keen to get as much sailing experience as possible, so happy to do any job around the boat. The fact that I live in the Midlands makes little difference, since the coast is a long way away from me in any direction!
