To complete the work we are doing in market research for someone else’s benefit, here’s a poll on forumite boat use.

You can have 2 votes, but to keep the results fairly simple, if your boating use is 70% or more under one category please stick to that.

This has been running a few days now, and still no ex boaters?
Maybe they’re too busy selling all their ex boaty chattels out of their garden sheds

Nope, but for me personally, the charter is usually one week somewhere interesting ..... last 2 years we were in Koh Chang in Thailand, also chartered out of Oban a few years back to take some work colleagues on a Whiskey tour.



... but we still spend more than 70% of our time on our own boat.

I did a shared charter whiskey tour with some fellow YM CS theory classmates out of Croabh a few years ago, and this year we have a week coming up on the smallest boat I could find for just a couple (38’, I could fit my boat inside the saloon of this charter boat) in the far N Aegean to visit old friends and old boating grounds, but 99% of my sailing is on my little Welsh boat
