In brief-

non-smoker
Done most of the RYA Dingy courses in low teens
Few previous yacht day sails
Few years Merchant Navy in various departments, couple of years total time afloat. Various deck related tickets.

I purchased a yacht last year which needed a few minor odds and ends sorting which are slowing getting done.

Im planning to do a day/coastal skipper course in the near future when time allows.

In the mean time im keen to get back out on the water, Im based in Ipswich. I can be flexible, with notice, for anything from a few hours to few days. Happy to travel.

PM if you want more info/chat.

Hi Matt

Somtimes difficult to get crewing oppertunaties, skippers like to know what they are taking on and its getting over that initial intriductionary period which is generaly the sticking block.

Have a look at the new Crew Pool project intoduced by Shotley Point Yacht Club it will give you the sailing flexability you require and is also linked to further RYA acredited training. Have a look on the web site and get in touch they will invite you along to openly discuss how they can get you into a regular crewing within the club, introduce you to skippers & develop your big boat sailing skills. Sounds they have everything you are looking for....

I know you're looking to gain experience yourself, but if you need an extra hand to take your yacht out for a day sail or whatever I'm just based in Norwich and could do with the additional experience. 30s, male, comp crew.
