One Alkaline AA battery from Maplins keeps each light burning brightly for four hours
the light did look a bit on the blue side so I applied a yello highlighter pen to the inside of the green lens and it all went green again
however, after about three hours as thr battery starts to run down then the light gos a bit blue again - not blue enugh to confuse anypne
I wonder if a better quality battery would keep the light burning longer and stop that blue fade towards the end
I have asked my bank about taking out a mortgage to buy some Duracells
