Crebe wreck at the Nass

I anchored up for quite a few hours yesterday opposite hoping for a picture but by 3pm I gave up. It was a nice day to sit at anchor though. From the snatched conversation when the diver came up, he was still trying to get a strop under the rear of the craft. I had a brief conversation with a couple going out to her on Wednesday and the plan is to try airbags.

I must walk to the end of Beach Road and see what's going on today.

I saw you there from Kingsland Beach - Let us know what is going on

No one at Mersea seems to know. I am sure someone does, but no-one I've spoken to. One view is that she is to heavy to lift on board the barge but could be suspended under the Hiab over the bow and the barge then remove her to wherever.

Have just been out for some photos - as has half of Mersea and it wouldn't take a lot to knock her to pieces.

Perhaps they might lift her in stages, whilst removing the water in the hull which would be a large percentage of the weight. Once emptyish they might be able to lift the hull on board?
