Creased sails

Whats the best way of geting sharp creases out of my mainsail. Reluctant to iron it (might melt it). Wash/scrub it (takes the surface off). Any other bright ideas ???

Steam iron on the lounge floor or try a steam wallpaper stripper.

How bad are they?

Unless they're really bad just sailing, and making sure that you don't flake at exactly the same point every time, should get rid of them in a few outings.

April is the next month and rain showers are the order of the day.

Go out is a Six gusting Seven when it is really wet, have a thoroughly good broad reach and a nice beat to windward and the creases will hopefully melt away. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
