Creaking Arch/Hardtop on Sunseeker

I have a Sunseeker 40 Portofino and when at anchor, the slightest bit of rocking causes a creaking noise at the starboard side support of the arch/hardtop.

It sounds like a squeaky door hinge, and while not the end of the world, it's rather annoying.

I know there aren't a lot of 40 Portofinos around, but if anyone has experienced similar and has a suggested remedy, I'd be extremely grateful!

had a creaking floor / fuel tank surround
pushed some wooden wedges into it to find the exact location
sikaflex in the gap
removed the wedges
sikaflex in the wedge gaps
fixed

Thanks for sharing. I'll look for gaps the next time I'm on the boat, although the hardtop on this seems to be all integrated.

no idea how the hardtop looks like, but I bet there is a panel with screws/studs on the inside. Could well be this is moving/squeaking.
Generally check anywhere there are two different pieces of grp or even ply upholstery
