Crazy boat share

looks like a) they cant spell and b) they cant tell and auction from a classified and c) haven't explained the deal very well all of which might explain why its now ended.
 
Don't boat share agreements usually stipulate that if a member of the consortium sells their share, a) the other members have to have the opportunity to buy the share and b) any new member must be agreed by all the members of the consortium? Selling on EBay looks like a recipe for disater - and using the auction format (where the sale is binding provided any reserve has been met, AIUI) might conflict legally with the sharing agreement.
