Crankcase filters

Any one ever fitted crankcase filters to AD31-A's. Just got a pair to hopefully fit at the weekend. They have a large rubber seal on them and it looks as if the job is similar to the oil filter - smear of oil and turn hand tight. Can anyone confirm this.

Ha Ha mr sunfury good joke.The nearest this lot get to the engine bits is phoning credit card details to the boat yard persons secretary.

yep dead easy, just make sure you dont cross thread them and they are tight .

yeah, like you say, dead easy. Did both engines and air filters in 30 minutes. Just need to buy a magnet to recover strap spanner that fell under the starboard engine!!
