You could have a very nice stainless stell custom radar arch built for the Cranchi and still have lots of change out of £5k and it would look more contemporary imho.

You think??? Interesting idea...are you thinking powder coated to make it white? Any ideas who would fabricate this??
Good reason...I thought of that too (weather and all) and I am hoping the Cranchi has at least got a tonneau cover with some hoopy stainless supports....going to see them both this weekend (Saturday) and am hoping to make a final final final decision on the way home in the car!!!!!
There are stacks of marine steel fabricators who have done this sort of thing before. Have a look near where you will base the boat. I was thinking shiny stainless steel rather than powder coated white. Lots of boat manufacturers doing this now e.g. the Cranchi Sports Fishers have this. I think it looks neater than big ugly spoiler type radar arches. Quiet a few American boats builders do this now as well. You could use it as a wake board tower provided it is properly acnhored to the boat also which you probably couldn't do with the Sunseekers.
Will be bought South Coast (Hamble) and based East Coast...to be honest not been overwhelmed by East Coast craftsmanship / choice so would be happy to have it done before motoring round to base.
