Cranchi CSL28

thats about what they are worth. 28 foot boat with tiny cuddy from a manufacturer non savvy buyers in the UK may be cautious of

Agreed - but you could have a lot of fun on that boat though for not much ££££. Must be good for 40 knots with those engines.

Do you think they've reached rock bottom? If you could get a Windy Mirage for that £ even I could be tempted to reach under the mattress for the dosh.

I tried one of those with twin 230hp petrol engines, and she was good fun, but I wouldn't hold my breath for top speed with the two diesels.
In fact, she's a rather heavy boat for the size, and feels like it.
Apropos, just in case you would consider her for watersports, while she's great for tubes or wakeboard, you can forget slalom waterski: too much wake.

It's possibly a bit irrational but that big beam between the helm seats would really put me off.

Maybe it's a bonus if you don't like your missus very much but can't afford a boat and a divorce. :D

These are med boats, through and through, as the cockpit is tiny to make way for a big sunbed. Somehow though, a dealer up north managed to shift a few of them, must have been one hell of a salesman. It seems you have to almost give them away now.

I saw that one. Why is is that Med boats always look less attractive than UK ones? In this case the fenders, numbers, ropes, whips all make it look very cluttered.

Slight thread drift, but do the boat registration numbers leave a mark from the sun (or lack of it) on the gelcoat on Med boats?

I think they can leave a mark, but I thought you can polish it away, never done it though.

I prefer the windy 25 in all white,ie without the blue gel coat stripe

I'd prefer a white boat too* so that I could wrap it like this (and change change the upholstery to grey):

* Yes I know that you could 'wrap' a blue boat too but for some reason this violates my OCD-ness.

The boat is kept in mallorca, we have an apartment 15 mins drive from the boat, so we dont stay on board much, but we have done the odd over nighter for a bit of fun.
