Cracking/marking antiskid. Expected wear and tear or necessary repair?

You mostly deal with a dealer and not the manufacturer, and your point man is the salesman. If you've built a good relationship and shown interest in remaining with the brand I think you're in with a chance. My problem is convincing anybody, including myself, that it's a crack

I had a list of gelcote repairs for Benneteau to do but after your thread I also checked the treadplate and sure enough I found a small crack in the cockpit close to the lazaret. To be honest it's hard to determine what it is I tried blowing up a photo but it's still hard to figure, I think it's cracked but I would need something very fine to probe it

What I'd like to know is it possible to make an invisible repair by reforming the antiskid diamonds?
I am dragging up this old thread because two days ago the Benneteau gelcoat man arrived, the weather for gelcoat repairs is now perfect. He took those tiny hairline cracks seriously and I have just inspected the finished job, its perfect! As are the other six much bigger cracks. If anyone in the Le Lavandou region wants his name let me know I'm happy to recommend him

Thanks for resurrection of this one. I decided to take your lead and have engaged the Jeanneau dealer and they have raised with Jeanneau so will report the outcome.

How did he repair it?

I wasn't there, but my research says he chiseled out the crack (probably with a Dremmel), filled it with gelcoat and placed a mold on top till it dried. Excess gelcoat is scraped away. There are YouTube videos on this.
Ps you have to colour match, every manufacturer's white is different
