I was putting my 2.5 Mercury back together and broke the piston ring.Had to order a new one from the States.Another ten days wait.Bugger.

Quite likely it is a Tohatsu power head and the spares may have been closer & cheaper without the customs hassle.

I'm in Portugal and they charge a fortune for spares here.Ordering from the States is not a problem because the customs allow small items in without taxes.

When I lived there, I got done most times for stuff from the States.
But a ring would be just a padded envelope.

I usually get stuff from UK, so in the EU.
