Always makes me laugh when people say that about Wikipedia - as though there is some source of information that doesn't have to be treated with caution!
To save on back ache I have been using a very small(about 5lb) cqr with a short bit of 6mm chain and rope to hold my 25 ft cruising yacht. It lookS ridicullous but does the job reasonably well in situation s where I dont care if it drags a bit. I may leave it on the stem head roller for a while to attract comment from know it alls at the yacht club. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
My main anchor is a very substantial danforth with lots of 8 mm chain.
