My faithful S38 is heading being picked up by her new owner tomorrow and heading to Conway.

The deal was done very quickly as the owner knew exactly the boat and spec he wanted and he being a friend of a friend approached me directly after his offers of similar elsewhere were rejected.

The ironic thing is I was assisting him to purchase another boat but in the end he agreed to my asking price as he loved ours.

Sad to see her go so now the search starts for Cozzy III.

Perhaps a Sealine F42/5 would fit the bill but my wife likes the Phantom 46. Ho hum, here we go again ....

I've just bought a phantom , the 46 is a very nice kind boat, but don't be shy at pulling into the pumps compared to your s38.

Have I missed something here Paul? Many congratulations, and where are the pics? :)

You know me, low quay Im afraid .

I've no idea how to do pics on here, tried once and failed. My hands are skilled in other areas than IT skills to put pics on here, if I could I'd fill posts with the lesser nice designs of green engines and be in trouble for it.

Took delivery two weeks ago today , phantom 43.

Thanks VP.

I'm not overly concerned by the increased fuel as we only log about 60 hrs.

Congratulations on your new boat BTW ;)

FP 46 +1...just looks great to me...F42/5 is lovely but looking a bit dated? Of course thats down to personal taste with the usual caveats :)

Thanks Nigel

Agreed about the looks but to me the 42/5 is more comfortable inside and I hate the cockpit bench seats in the phantom.
A friend had a phantom 46 and when we visited I remember being very uncomfortable with my head bent forward due to angle of the rear cockpit covers.

I do remember however the Sealine seating both in the cockpit and saloon bring very comfy ;)

Also, there can be a fair price gap between the two models so it is hard fir me to justify the difference for a coastal hopper.

The big difference for me will be the handling and likely to be the decider if I manage to get some trials.

Regards
Cozzy

Congratulations VP :encouragement:

I hadn't thought of the phantom 43 which sounds ideal or maybe a targa 43 for that matter.

Oh hell, where do we start

If you want a mint two owner targa 43 year 2002 I can point you in the right direction if your a cash buyer.
