Hi all, took my boat over today for lift scrub, clean shafts and props new anodes etc.

I cannot thank them enough for such a great service, the 2 staff pressure washed the hull for about an hour paying partticular attention not to blast off all the remaining antifoul, yes it can be done right with a lower pressure cleaner and taking your time.

They then scrubbed the boot line of limescale etc, brushed the shafts rudders and props.

They then went for lunch for approx half an hour which left tamarind and I to clean up the props etc with power tools, they then relaunched the boat, moved the straps, lifted her again and washed off the hull where the straps prevented access before, now where can you get all that for................ wait for it £99.00!!!

We were there for the best part of 2 hours, time spent may be commercial suicide but they have provided a great service, which they only provide on a thursday.

I was going to use sealift but it was over twice the price for badly fouled boats.

I saw the boat was "missing" today !
I think Paul has a Princess 440.
Trust him to sniff out a bargain........

Wish it was a 440 its a 410, a mate rang around various hamble and solent marinas to ask for quotes to lift 4 boats here ranging from 36ft to 43 ft, mine included, I dare not publish the outrageous quotes! one of which not a few yards from here.

Id say what excellent service.

The quote is for any boat up to 50ft or 16ft beam, any wider wont fit the dock.
