Hi
I know that lots of you are planning to take part in Cowes Week, with some competing in the Fastnet race too.
So I've put together a special mobile version of Weatherweb for you to get the latest forecasts from. I'm going to be recording special videos for the events too.
It's at http://m.weatherweb.net from your mobile (or to view on a desktop use http://www.weatherweb.net/wxwebtvcowesweekmobile.php ). It's all free and I hope it's of use to you.
Indications at the moment are that Cowes Week should be quite a good one, with SW-W winds. Might be a few showers and speeds around F4-F5, although could be a windier start at F6 with a low west of Ireland (see the chart for 3rd August below). Doesn't look likely to be a washout, and there aren't any signs of any really deep lows coming along, so fingers crossed it a stays that way!
I'll try to keep you updated via this thread too.
Hope its useful info. Keep the sun shining!
