Cowes Torquay Race Start Photos

Had a great weekend holed up in Newtown Creek just relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet. Got up early this morning and watched the race boats come up the Solent and then start off Hurst. One thing that was amusing was that the annual Hurst narrows swim was held at exactly the same time as the boats were coming through....no problems though thankfully!

Great pics - thanks for posting! We were up early at the other end - they made good time today and water was flat calm in the Bay. Didn't see Cookee (BananaShark) - I thought they were running in this one? Great conditions this year

Thanks for the pics. Saw a few of them fueling at Cowes over the weekend. They are loud loud and don't like to run at tick-over!
