Last time I was there I was in dinner suit with a pair of black steel toecap safety boots. When getting dressed to go out I had fogotten that on the previous occasion I had arrived home with aching feet and thrown out my only pair of black shoes saying "I must remember to get another pair"...

Excellent, just right for dealing with any riff-raff that deign to enter the hallowed portals!
