Large fire being reported at a boatyard / storage facility in Cowes. No injuries but possibly a lot of boats destroyed, mainly sailing boats from what I understand.

All the etchels have been lost. Such a shame.
No one injured which is the main thing but there are a lot of buildings / livelihoods in that area. Hope they can get it under control. No mean feat.

Apparently possibly 6 XOD's, 14 Etchells (which is most of the Cowes fleet) and a large number of Dragons.
Very sad day with the loss of so many great boats and a few irreplaceable classics, thoughts are with all the owners.

Ironically the Etchells worlds is in Cowes this year.
