If you mean the chain ferry I think its gone for a lick of paint and an oil change .

the planned maintenance was a couple of weeks ago. Just before that it was taken out of service to repair a hole. So i'm guessing that this timeit is a further unscheduled withdrawal from service. But there is a launch service in its place for pedestrians and cyclists
