I need to have a few seams re-stiched in my cockpit hood and so I need :-

a) A good Tarp supplier so I can buy a Tarp to cover the cockpit while the hood is sent away.
b) A local to Worcester / Gloucester company who can do the repair to the hood.

Anyone got any recommendations ??

Re: Your organ....

Cant help with the canopy problem Im afraid but I am a little concerned about one of the piccies you have posted to your album on my website.
In spite of my clear and unambiguous instructions regarding salacious images you have seen fit to post a picture of your organ. Not only that but it appears to be a double handed jobbie with all sorts of embellishments.
Please explain yourself before I exercise my rights of veto and cut you off in your prime.......you will appreciate that I need to protect others from such blatant exhibitionism, particularly hlb and harry..........

Re: Your organ....

Dont bother trying to flog tony anything. He's still saving up for his special. Made to order, at great expence. Not to mention heart ache. Bloody Boat One FLAG.

It's going up for auction along with Cutey Coliholics Polo Shirt.
And a carton full of Doms Soltron.

All proceeds in aid of Harrys Hay Fund.

Now Who Will Start The Bidding.

Re: Your organ....

I start with two worn out Fan Belts and a 3 year old oil filter.

To answer the question in Hand (no more organs please) use wilsons, i have tried to get quotes from local people and no one could be a*sed to come and see my boat. Wilsons are a bit more expensive but their work is quality. (I have used them)

I know a good tarp place, but cannot remember the name (D'oh), give a day or 2 to find them (they are in birmingham and very cheap) and i will PM them to you.

Thanks

I recently had my cockpit canopy off for the plastic windows to be replaced. A very cheap and cheerful blue polprop type 'tarpauline' from the local builders merchant was more than adequate as a temporary cover and it cost about £10 or £15 if I remember right. My cockpit has to be considerably larger than yours so think you'd be well ok with something similar.

Well come on Boatone, do the right thing. Here's a bloke needing a tarp and you've got one sitting in your garage doing nothing. Least you could do is offer it to him. Free, gratis and for nothing.

Bet B1's just choked on his half a shandy at the thought of him giving something away. (Wouldn't say he's tight, but I swear I saw him try to pay for a loaf of bread in France last month with a ten shilling note.)
