Thinking of doing some shopping at the LBS, and got me thinking, what with Xmas and all, presents, I like practical presents you know the kind you can use like Hand held GPS., but I also like silly stuff , like teddy bear hot water bottle covers,[latest one called " Get well"

Some one on here came up with a great present for his other half this year, [not Mike21] of a professional shopper going out with his partner to help her choose some outfits, I have been told it has work wonderfully and she is very happy.

Anyway,
Whats the best present you have been given or a present you thought was a brilliant idea.

A friend of mine was given a cushion for his boat. You know the type, embroidered, 1 foot square, and used on a setee. It would have been terribly boring except for the fact that it had a famous sentence embroidered on it, taken from "The Wind In The Willows" which said..."there's nothing half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats! I like it - and I want one! Nauticalia, I believe.
