During our recent trip to Majorca we had a shufty around the marinas to get some pricing and availability, just in case you wondered what the pricing ranges would be, these are for a 12m x 4m mooring. Prices are generally quoted less 21% VAT, and then there is lighthouse tax, water and electric, and every Marina seems to quote these different. I have rounded the figure up to include all taxes and running costs, and I may have missed something, but its about right.
Adriano €15,732
Santa Ponca €11,200 (up to 15m)
Cala Nova €12,720
Club De Mar €12,500
Portals €17,500
RCNP €12,500
What was interesting is that the marinas are saying they are fully allocated for 2017, and they all have waiting lists. The amount of private vs marina owned moorings in each marina varied a lot, so these are moorings that marina owns or the owner has given the marina to rent. Some marinas were 100% private, and I haven't listed those.
Given the strength of the € vs £, in real terms these will cost a lot more than they would have a year ago, so the ideal world is to find a mooring owner living in the UK that does not charge VAT and is happy to be paid in ££ - I would imagine a very rare person!
Anyway thought it worth sharing, its a time consuming exercise, but everyone was really helpfull and gave us written quotes, and took us through how the waiting list system worked.

Just what I had been lookng for as i was thinkng of leaving the boat in mallorca this summer and the winter, However I know someone with a 46fter and he reckons he pays 10 bags for his to moor in club del mar. I was kind of hoping it was going to be cheaper than Ibiza
