so I found a boat in Valencia and owner preparing the boat for a sea trial, I agreed to buy the boat as long as engines are good and Scubaman (Alf) has given me exact details for what to check for.

since its winter and the boat is on the wrong side of Spain does anyone know how much it would cost to ship to north Spain or France?

The boat is 48 foot long .

If the engines are ok maybe run her up to Sant Carles for the winter months where you can take your time and ship from our boatyard.
SC is about 85 miles by sea.
Coast2coast ship regularly from/to SC.
SCM is cheap but, having said, so is Valencia.

From Valencia to Where?

I know Spain has lower road bridges than France from when I shipped my boat from Gib to Southampton eventually by sea.

I dont know what boat you are talking about?

I bought an Aquastar 48 flybridge with a dropping radar arch in Gib it was a few inches too high for Spanish road bridges but would have been OK in France.

I don't remember exact height limits it was 10 years ago. Gib was a convenient pick up point on the way in and out of the Med and then it was £10k Gib to Southampton by sea.

Operators are Peters and May and Sevenstar I used the latter, there are a few more on Google.

You may get a cheaper price from Gibraltar or Palma because they are on the main route so to speak.
