Corvette with Perkins engines

Depends o; location but @volvopaul is well regarded on here. He surveyed the engines on our Hardy when we bought it.

I have Sabre 225s on my Grand Banks 36' - the props are enormous 29" diameter x ~ 24" pitch 4 blade. She is a 40' semi displacement boat and tops out at 16 knots at 2400 rpm as long as the hull and props are clean. She is also ~ 12 tons so a few ton heavier than the Corvette. I would expect a Corvette correctly propped would easily get above 20 knots with those engines.

Morning- many thanks for info. Yes - I think a prop issue although mine are only 18” poss a problem with pitch
