Good point about fuel tanks, forgot all about that trouble. Any engine work requires engine being lifted and stripped in the wheelhouse and parts taken out wheelhouse door.

Was asked to look at re-powering one where Yanmar LP had ingested an exhaust valve, new replacement engines would require complete strip down to get through the door so bang went warranty.

That would put me off buying one. I new engine access is not great, but I had not realised that an engine cannot be lifted out intact. what to do..

After my recent troubles with cutlass bearings and having learnt what a tw@t they are to change on my boat I am never going to criticise egg beaters again - (well not until next time anyway !!!).

Perhaps there's room for another cricket match on the Brambles, Cutlass Bearing Hotspurs vs Egg Whisk United.

We'll get into trubble with the eggwhiskers.

Humph.... so let's see - our boats are about the same weight, both have similar horsepower but you have 2.5x the torque yet you are 8 knots behind...

I'll regret that jibe next week when my outdrive blows itself to smithereens!

The seller's description is somewhat vague, but this appears to be a later 320 version. If so the cheapest of these I have seen is £130k.

The engine description doesn't seem right - Volvo 150 were likely the TAMD41's fitted in the earlier models. These are a bit underpowered for offshore use, limiting to about 14 knots, later models seem to mostly have 250 - 330 HP VP or Yanmar. Most owners know the proper model of their engines.

Could be a bargain for someone, and I doubt he will be overly bothered about parting with too much to his soon to be ex-SWMBO, but I would want to make sure, very sure this is a genuine sale, and that there is no outstanding finance or other debts on it.

The helmsman looks like he's playing a Mighty Wurlitzer Organ. This is the instrument panel on the flybridge,
