I'm having some trouble with my forestay and furling jib and wondered if anyone could help. I can't get the forestay to tighten and the aft stays barely reach their turnbuckles.

Has anyone got the lengths of standard rigging wire or info on how to set the mast position for a corribee standard rig?

Is it the standard Newbridge Mk 3 rig with forestay, cap shrouds, forward and aft lower shrouds and a divided back stay ?

Can you not slacken the forward lowers and adjust the fore/aft tension using the backstay turn buckles and the forestay turn buckle if there is one. Finally adjust the lower shrouds to give a slight forward bend to the mast, or will that result in excessive mast rake?

Can you tell us the make of the furler and/or post some photos of the bottom end ?

SRM has a good point - some pictures might also be useful. If you slacken the lowers off (leaving the caps!) and rake the mast back, will the fore and back stays then be the right length?
