I've got a six-block MOB recovery line, but cannot recall the correct way to reeve it.

There are tree blocks at the bottom (with recovery hook) and three at top (hook to end of boom) with a jam-cleat in the centre of the top.

Any pointers?

As link in post 2,normally jam cleat is at bottom.

For a MOB recovery tackle I would use my mainsheet, six sheaves as Babylon has. In trials we found that having the cleat at the bottom was very difficult to pull when the block was at water level, whereas having it at the top made the job far easier. Consequently I have my mainsheet blocks equipped with snapshackles so that it can be reversed quickly.

Fully agree, I missed the MOB tackle reference.
