Correct charger setting for my batteries?

Still Lead Acid so 'LA' would be the setting, IMO.

Unlike flooded rechargeable batteries, sealed rechargeable batteries do not contain a liquid that will spill out if the battery breaks. Instead, sealed rechargeable batteries hold only enough liquid to allow the electrolytes to flow. These types of batteries are also known as maintenance-free batteries

To me Maintenance Free means that you're not to refill it now an then, but you still need to keep an eye on the battery and its performance.

There are LA battery just because there are sealed it make on different to the charger .
Note the eye doesn't tell you much only that that cell is ok I have found in the pass ,

Thanks. I'd noticed this in a Sterling manual

and it made wonder if my battery qualified as a sealed acid and hence meant changing the settings to 4 -AGM. I thought it unlikely, but safest to check. Sealed acid is something else, right?

I use a Victron Centaur.

They're not sealed, the tops are clearly visible on the picture in the link. Previously posted replies that they should be on the LA setting would be correct.

Some of the battery terminology is incorrect though (although we mostly know what it means). AFM, Gel, SLA, open cell and deep cycle are all lead acid. We usually think of LA as being "wet", whether sealed or open, but there are different charge regimes for some of those. Deep cycle usually have a higher absorption voltage than standard wet batteries and some sealed batteries are even lower. There are also sealed

The Victron manual for the Centaur states the following, which confirms the "LA" setting is correct for the Halfords battery. The Victron AGM voltages are a little low for the Halfords battery.

The final paragraph confirms what i said above, not all "LA" (wet cell) batteries require the same charging voltages, there are, for instance, some sealed, wet cell, lead acid batteries that need a 14.8V absorption voltage.

LA Absorption 14.5 - Float 13.5

Important note regarding charge voltage settings
The charge voltages as mentioned above for the different types of
battery are indicative only. Please contact your battery supplier for
advice.

Especially flooded lead acid batteries (“LA” in the table) may
require a different charge voltage, depending on
chemical/mechanical construction.

Should I be worried? You got a fix for that?

EDIT I misread your post, but can't delete this!
