Hi All,

We've just bought a Sealine S24.

I am looking to find some sort of corner fender I can attach to the stern "bathing platform" as I am worried about hitting it !

I've attached a picture with the area highlighted if anyone had any ideas?

I've seen some on the market by they seem to be square not rounded on the boat side.

Any help / advice would be appreciated :)

These are definitely available http://www.seamarknunn.com/acatalog/CornerFenders.html But... swmbo (if you have one around!) with a roving fender is what we do.

Nope, they won't do at all. No alternative, I'm afraid, you're going to have to learn to drive it without hitting things. If you think you have problems, check out the corner radius on our bathing platform. Maybe there's something to the Oldgit/hlb favoured 'square' design school after all...

Come on your cant nail corner fenders onto a moderns sports boat. They are for older squarer designs.

The only real answer is to learn how to handle the boat without clipping things and if things start to go wrong dont panic and put more power on as that just makes things worse. A gentle nudge on the rear corner shouldnt hurt anything and minor scrapes are easily repaired.

same shape as my boat.

If you hook the aftmost fender around the cleat, or get some ball fenders made up with eyes on that can hook over the cleat, they are far enough aft to offer protection to the corner.

edit - having said that your cleats may be further up/forward than mine.......
