Corfu

Has anyone travelled to Corfu recently? we will be arriving late and will have to put up in a hotel close to or in Corfu town. Are all places open, any recommendations. We are also thinking of doing a weeks charter, any recommendations? We haven't sailed in the Ionian for a number of years.

Not been for a couple of years, but when we go we stay at the Bretagne as it is a five minute walk from the airport and a fifteen minute walk from the main bus stop in the town centre for getting a bus to Gouvia. Nothing flash, but acceptable for a late-night arrival.
Have done a couple of charters with Discovery out of Gouvia. Probably not the best upkept boats, but cheap and cheerful.

hoteltelesilla.com and bobsyachts.gr both highly recommended. Stayed there many times. Short walking distance from Gouvia. Bob has probably the best kept boats , newish Jeanneau.

There's a colour coded Greek chart showing different areas those with high incidence are coloured red .
I have just looked for it but cannot find it for you .

Greece updates Covid-map, downgrades several areas from “deep red” to “red” - Keep Talking Greece
although its dated today, the map is older, i cannot delete it.

From living here ,not on Corfu I would not put a lot of faith in Greek corvid 19 results they are more desperate for tourists .
