No, but my point is, and I though this was clear, is that their advice doesn't apply to all situations. Is that clear or should I draw you a picture???

I am quoting the advice of the manufacturer not personal experience. We all know from the numerous post on this forum about coppercoat performance, that it varies dramatically from boat to boat and region to region. What works for you doesn't necessarily work for somebody else in a different location.
