Copper Plus epoxy/copper treatment

Anybody had any experience of copper plus epoxy/copper treatment? I want to take advantage of the epoxy treatment I am having done at the moment and apply a copper coat system whilst the bottom is in good condition. Copper plus has been recommended to me but I have never heard of it.
 
I applied Coppercoat to my cleaned hull at the beginning of this season and so far it's slime free. My outdrives by comparison which have just standard outdrive antifoul are covered in algae.

it was fairly easy to apply with no special skills required. I'd suggest an electric food mixer to mix the copper in with the epoxy.

Early days for me but so far so good.
 
No knowledge of Copper plus, but I have used a similar product.

Shanty is now in her seventh season since being Coppercoated. Its still going strong - just needs a quick blast with the pressure washer at crane out to shift a light coat of slime, and a light rub down in the spring before crane in.

A great system - go for it.
 
Have used coppercoat for 11 years now, was originaly called copper bot, after 8 years I applied an extra coat. Great stuff, as the previous post mentioned just a jetwash and light sand and your back in buisness. incidently my boat is in year round. Its also posible to spray on, my transom hung rudder is done with jotun antifoul as the coppercoat didnt work quite as well exposed to direct sunlight.
 
Our experience: 4 coats of 'Copperbot' on newly finished epoxy have now completed ten seasons. It was one of the best things we have ever done for the boat. However, we do not usually sail in warm waters, and the only time we were as far south as 50N (to be under the total eclipse and cruise W Ireland) in a warm summer the fin keel collected enough slimy growth to oblige us to dry out for a scrub in August: we now use an eroding antifouling of the keel. Otherwise, copper has given good service on the hull, needing only a pressure wash on lifting, and a very light hand-rub over with a piece of 600 wet/dry paper before launch (less than an hour for a 10m hull) to remove some weathered oxide and 'reactivate' the coating.
 
Our cat was coated with Copperbot 10 years ago and apart from the odd patch repair nothing special done to it. We've just completed a season in the Carib and a year in the water and we're very pleased with it. We've found that in the tropics we need to give her a rub over every few weeks with a scourer. Copper epoxy is a good investement in my opinion

Re Copper coatings, seem to be fine in coll to cold areas but do not perform as well in the tropics, a little sunlight gives the greeblies the upper hand, or so it would seem.

I am looking for information on the various copper epoxy coatings before deciding which product to apply. The main ones to be considered are Cuprotect and Copper Coat. Do any forum users have experience in the use and application of these products? Cuprotect is a none Diy option and because of this it is more expensive all other preparation costs are similar for both products. <span style="color:purple"> </span>
