Copper coat alternatives

have considered copper coat several times for Coral Wind ( now in group ownership)
The success rate is patchy though.
I dont really mind the anual antifoul. Jet wash, a couple of hours knocking off the hard tbe worms and limpit mines with a scrapper or chisel.
Mask up and two coats all in a day ( but say over 2 days now the first flush of youth is gone!)

What is the current state of the Jaycar system? ( correct name?) Is it worth while to keep the worst of the growth off between annual antifouling?

We have had the jaycar system in the uk, used to just get left with like a thick mud on the bottom with anti foul,

Now in the Med with copper coat and the jaycar was working for 16 mo this until I left the boat to stand for 4 months came back to light cover of barnicals and growth but a dive under the boat and most came off after worst was lossened and we started to sail again.
