Copper antifoul

The slime doesn't come off when planning but easily rubs off with a soft brush when on the pontoon. Only get slime on the sides nothing underneath.

I had my old antifoul removed by a company called SYMBLAST which cost around £400 for a 10.6 mtr boat. I used 9 litres of epoxy/coppercoat which came to around £600, this included everthing necessary to do the job.

For the record you can remain in the water for 5years - with an intermediate diver survey in the middle with certain coatings.

Yep - I agree. I used 350 micron (spose it doesn't matter that much?) and I haven't had one single barnacle - not one!

Thanks for all of the replies so far, I think I will definately go with the copper stuff but now begs the question which one.
eco-sea one seems newer than coppercoat but maybe more expensive.
Is anyone out there using the eco-sea coating?

Looks good, I think I can get it applied before taking delivery of the boat which will make it easier for me!!!!
