Cooooold day boating pictures!

Not the best idea to be on the water when it is cold and freezing! But a friend of mine insisted to go boating...!

I think I was the only pleasure boat except some rowing boats...!

Bah - my visit to the marina today was to fill in a lift out and chock ashore form.

That's it for this season, now the hard work begins for a trouble free next season.
Oldgit will be pleased to know my first job is to remove the outdrive and give it a service.

It was a great weekend for being out on the boat. We were out with a couple of other boats on the ditch. It was a little cold at times, especially in the morning when our leisure batteries decided to die and the heating wouldnt come to life due to low voltage, but worth it anyway.

Champing at the bit tonget back out on hours, must be some sort of new record which I don't want to repeat in not being out due to a new puppy stifling plans, oh, and no 1 crew being in Oz for 2 weeks! About 4 loooong weeks I think, but will get out this weekend regardless, even if only for a few hours and give the new pup a first taste of the wonderful boating life!

It is Torksey lock cut yes. We are based just outside Lincoln at Burton Waters so Torksey is one of our local weekend stop overs.

Same feeling here as well. Been unable to get to the boat and go out for a few weeks due to work and a trip abroad. Going tomorrow though to make sure all is well and she starts ok.
