Cooker

That toaster looks neat - better than the pyramid ones. Toast is a problem on boat ( and caravan) cookers, although most are sized to take two slices, in practice the flames don't reach the edges.
Can you get a meths powered toaster?

This is the original equipment! http://cdn.boatshed.com/autoimage-144674_BoatPic_Cooker.jpg
I need something to fit in the tin lined space. Maybe I'll use the space for storage and have a ten quid camping stove on top. Have to be a thermos for drinks at sea.
Edit. I hadn't noticed the flare stored by the cooker before! LOL

If you want to replace like with like (your boat hasn't blown up yet, has it?) I have one of those stoves in the garage, barely used. Yours for peanuts. PM me if you're interested.

On my new little boat I have a space for a cooker where there was once a single burner gimballed Gaz unit with the bottle hanging below it. Any suggestions for what I should replace it with. Kettle boiling, one pot meals and ideally toast. Must be gimballable for use at sea.

Hate gas where not needed. Origo 2 burner meths stove. Denatured alcohol or tiny bit of water eliminate odours that some notice A top toaster clamp and and Omni oven, and jobs a "good un"......someone else may have mentioned this as well? My apologies, but if so, just shows what a good idea it is!!
