Convince me to buy pattern parts

Always do, but nobody's making the drums (or at least, they weren't early this year).

To be honest I do not think I have ever changed drums on a land rover, or any car for that matter, trucks I have done hundreds of the things.

It was a first for me too. Horribly grooved, and for once the argument that it increases the surface area really wouldn't wash.

Not if it breaks, then again I could buy two and still have a saving...

That was never true in the first place, mind you I used to think the same many moons ago!

We used to have loads of rouble with trailer drum brakes and the annual mot, in the end got shoes and drums profiled to each other, better but still hassle, and trailer drums brakes today are still pants even when working correctly.

Bought engine mounts for my 3YM30 from Parts4engines two years ago, they're doing fine and looked identical at a fraction of the cost.
