I have a colleague with one - for sleep apnoea, which was diagnosed as he kept falling asleep during the day. Doing thios while driving really does put your life at risk!. He says the best advantage is that regardless how much he drinks he wakes up freash and without a hangover!

My boyfriend, a very competant sailor, has been diagnosed with sleep apnea and will have to use a CPAP machine, we have a small classic boat with only one battery, could anyone let me know if it can be powered off the battery and how much power it will use. Is the CPAP machine noisy (mind you any noise would never be as loud as his terrible snoring), but hopefully not anymore, just the sound of the water lapping against the hull.
