When my mast was taken down for re-rigging recently, it was found that the connections inside the boat were a bit manky. It looks as if it would be best to replace the two bars but I can't find the same, or what they might be called. They are strips of six, with a pair of spade connectors one side and screw-in sockets the other. It would be easier to replace like-for-like and re-use the terminals in place because some places are shared between two wires, but a complete refitting might be necessary. I'd like to know where to get a replacement, or what would be best. I imagine that a simple bar would be suboptimal.

Don't recall seeing any terminal strips with screw connectors one side and spades the other when I was looking for such things. I made up my own by gluing Wago 2 way or 3 way connectors to a ply board similar to the one you can see in the middle of the photo. Very simple, flexible cheap and secure. On my current job list is feeding the mast wires through after stepping the mast.

A search for "screw to tab terminal block" yields several options. This example has one screw and two spade connectors but they can be interlocked to provide as many as you require.

That looks as if it might be the right phrase but I find it hard to see exactly what those are, even from the information sheet. I need a strip with a screw on ne side and two tabs on the other. I’ll come back in a few days with a photo perhaps, but reorganising it might be necessary.

Actually the one I posted has a screw on one side and three spades on the other.

This is a picture of a variant of the above, just one row and it shows the screw and the tabs.
